You can configure the internet setting manually on all android handsets, just go to the Settings menu on the phone, and then go to Mobile Networks, and Access Points to create a new access point called SabaFon Net; and enter the word internet in APN field leaving all other fields blank, and save the new access point.

Instead, you can text ‘Net’ to 6633 for free, and you shall receive the internet configuration message which you should save the SMS settings and enter the security code ‘0000’ which should configure the internet settings automatically. When you activate the mobile data icon, the service shall be activated immediately.

There are five internet packages that SabaFon is offering:

The first package costs 80 units, and contains 100 megabytes. To subscribe, text 1 to 4150.

The second package costs 150 units, and contains 250 megabytes. To subscribe, text 2 to 4200.

The third package costs 250 units, and contains 500 megabytes. To subscribe, text 3 to 4250.

The forth package costs 350 units, and contains 750 megabytes. To subscribe, text 4 to 4300.

The fifth package costs 400 units, and contains 1024 megabytes (1 gigabyte). To subscribe, text 5 to 4500.

SabaNet packages have been enhanced recently with more credit and without any increase in the subscription fees. The following are the specific details for each SabaNet package.

The first package contains 200 megabytes valid for 30 days and offered for a monthly fee of 130 units only. To subscribe, send an empty message to 4001.

The second package contains 450 megabytes valid for 30 days and offered for a monthly fee of 270 units only. To subscribe, send an empty message to 4002.

The third package contains 600 megabytes valid for 30 days and offered for a monthly fee of 300 units only. To subscribe, send an empty message to 4003.

The forth package contains 1024 megabytes valid for 30 days and offered for a monthly fee of 350 units only. To subscribe, send an empty message to 4004.

The fifth package contains 3072 megabytes valid for 30 days and offered for a monthly fee of 700 units only. To subscribe, send an empty message to 4005.

You can pay for any of these packages through the scratch cards or via the electronic voucher services.

In case the megabyte credit has finished, you will be charged 4 units for every extra megabyte.

Each package has 30 day validity period, and you can subscribe with more than one package at once and enjoy a cumulative validity period that can reach up to 90 days.

SabaFon international roaming service enables its subscribers to use their phone numbers outside Yemen to make and receive calls and SMS messages according to the tariff price of the visited country. For more information about the service, please send the type of roaming that you desire to 211 for free.

When you make a call while roaming to any number in Yemen, the cost shall be as following:

From GCC countries: 425 YER

From other Arab countries: 460 YER

From Europe, Turkey, USA, and Canada: 620 YER

From other countries: 680 YER

When you send a text message while roaming to any number in Yemen, the cost shall be as following:

SabaFon postpaid lines are characterized by having a more reduced tariff price than the prepaid lines. The following details include the postpaid tariff price. From SabaFon to SabaFon, the call costs 7.5 YER, 9.5 YER to other local GSM networks, 9 YER to landline, 10 YER to YemenMobile. To SabaFon, the SMS message costs 5 YER, 2.5 YER for third minute subscribers, 9 YER to other local GSM networks, 12.5 YER to YemenMobile, and 15 YER to international destinations.

You can activate the professional clip service for free. This service enables you to know the numbers that have called you when your phone is switched off or out of the coverage area.

SabaFon has introduced SabaControl service which enables subscribers to block unwanted and annoying calls. This service is totally unique and is offered from SabaFon only.

The service is available to all SabaFon subscribers and enables them to control all incoming calls including local and international calls.

You can transfer units from your number to any other SabaFon number by dialing the code: *123*security code*phone number*number of uits#

It is to be noted though that 2% shall be charged on every transaction.

To inquire about the address of SabaFon customer service centers, you can text the name of the governorate to 211 for free, and you will get a message with all the address of SabaFon authorized centers.

SabaFon has provided Super Kalam package which offers 30% discount on tariff price of local calls to local networks in addition to 50% discount within the network of SabaFon from the first minute.

You can also benefit from 7 YER package which enables all subscribers to call local networks for only 7 YER per minute starting from the third minute and without any monthly fee.
